Financial Accounting Assistant

The post holder will be responsible for the provision of treasury and financial accounting support to external stakeholders, including students, the Finance Department and other departments within the University.

The post holder will be expected to take part in the development, review and implementation of new and existing processes and procedures within the Finance Department.

The Person

The applicant will need to have 5 GCSE Grades A-C, or equivalent, including Maths with experience of maintaining a cash book and working within a finance environment. Knowledge and experience working with credit control and Sales ledger would be advantageous. Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and use of databases are essential as well as accuracy and attention to detail

The applicant must be able to demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills and be confident with making customer phone calls.
