Canopius Hiring for Talent Acquisition Consultant – 12m FTC Job at Manchester, England Full Time

The Role

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Consultant to manage the end to end recruitment process for the new Tech and Data Hub in Manchester. The role will be responsible for pro-actively sourcing candidates to minimise costs, work with local agencies as required to hire the best local talent and working in the Tech and Data hub on a Hybrid basis for interviews, on-boarding and stakeholder meetings.

This role is a 12 month FTC.

Responsibilities will include

• Build and manage candidate pipelines using a range of networks, including but not limited to LinkedIn, various databases and local recruiters to enable fulfilment of roles in line with both the requirements of the role and the wider goals of the Company as they relate to talent acquisition.
• Champion best practice, continuously reviewing and exploring ways of enhancing the internal recruitment processes
• Manage full lifecycle of recruitment services for all role vacancies
• Schedule interviews for hiring managers with candidates and conduct HR interviews as part of the recruitment process
• Set up and manage assessment days as required to aid timely resourcing
• Minimise use of search firms and agencies in order to reduce expenditure
• Champion the Employee Referral Scheme to increase participation.
• Implement monitoring systems to ensure cost targets are met and suggest improvements
• Act as the local point of contact for all resourcing issues and matters including candidate on-boarding
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with external recruitment agencies

Essential Skills & Experience

• Experience as a Recruitment Consultant, Resourcing Advisor or Senior Internal Recruiter
• Ability to create and update reporting and metrics
• Up-to-date knowledge of relevant UK employment law and recruitment best practice
• Demonstrated ability to implement cost-saving recruitment strategies
• Influencing and negotiation techniques
