Overview

Directs a division (such as several departments or regions or two functional areas across several Canon subsidiaries) and ensures goals, deadlines and budgets are met for area of responsibility. Directs the activities of several subordinate manager or director-level employees. Accountable for the development, alignment and execution of business segment strategy. Maintains considerable latitude for independent decision-making and interacts regularly with executives across the organization. Selects, develops and evaluates subordinate employees. Typically reports to a VP or SVP.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of the Service budget.
• Provides analytical support for a broad array of business issues across various disciplines and functional areas.
• Identifies areas within Canon Solution America that needs business process improvements and work to improve those processes.
• Responsible for revenue forecast.
• Develops strategy with Sr. VP to improve financial reporting for Management.
• Develops strategy with Sr. VP to implement service pricing strategy across all BU’s
• Manages the reporting of all relevant financial data to Service VP’s and senior management
• Directly interfaces with each BU’s finance VP to assure common standards
• Manages and reports on budget and targets for each BU
• Joins the financial discussions as each BU prepares the MTP to ensure service is engaged and aligned.
• Prepares original, operating, 1st and 2nd review budgets
• Recommends strategies to enhance financial performance of the service BU.
• Evaluates the financial viability of future service initiatives and new opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 15 years of related experience.
