You will have the opportunity to process all required information and documentation for starters, internal moves & leavers, track employee documentation such as sickness notes, maternity/paternity and maintain and manage accurate employee files including timely scanning of documents into electronic employee files, as well as prepare information for payroll in advance of agreed cut-off dates
The data management aspect of the role, you will upload accuracate HR data through timely updates into HR Oracle & other HR systems ( training given), produce reports e.g headcount, performance, absence as appropriate to be used by HR and ensure that all records are maintained accurately to support SOX compliance and other documentation required for audit purposes.
Ad-hoc support with producing employee letters e.g. during restructures–
In addition there will be the opportunity to be invovled with HR projects that relate to people managment and adminstration, including HR systems related projects.
Act as point of contact for employee queries re absence, contracts, payroll etc. and escalate to the HRBP where necessary
Support HRBPs with induction for new employees.
Self Development is important at Canon and you will be encouraged to take further training to develop your skills in this role through the support and guidance of your Manager.
What we ask
You will need to have had previous experience working in an HR/Administrative capacity, where working as a team you have worked to worked under pressure, yet have had to accuracte in your work.
Ability to use Oracle ideal but training offered.
Your communication skills will be excellent, and you will have the ability to explain clearly complex issues simply over the telephone, face to face or via email.

The role is very much a team role and we expect those in the team to contribute to create a winning team. You will be accountable and enjoy creating solutions to problems and working in a fast paced environment, where their drive and passion to produce excellent customer service is exemplary. You will have the support of your Manager but we encourage you to own the responsibilities in this role so you grow and develop.

Salary: £24,106 – £25,445
