ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Strategist, your mission is three-fold: to wow our clients through fantastic work, build awesome teams and work culture, and continue to differentiate our service offering in the marketplace. You demonstrate an ability to our clients through their most complex decisions by facilitating evidence-based outcomes. You revel in insights gathered from both qualitative and quantitative data and can help organizations across multiple sectors visualize and articulate their education strategy and transformation journey. You will be involved in all aspects of planning, preparation, coordination, and execution of a project that delivers measurable value to the client and results in client satisfaction with the work product and adoration of the firm overall.
Successful consultants on our team will have a combination of creative and analytical abilities and interests. We are looking for an entrepreneurial colleague who demonstrates leadership, drive and values mentorship.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Lead and deliver consulting services for strategy and experience design projects within the Higher Education sector, with the ability to translate learnings from across other sectors.
Create meaningful, long-term relationships with clients/users through excellence, integrity, and reliability.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, the issues they face, and the mindsets and behaviors that will support their transformative vision.
Lead and facilitate user groups, client work sessions and research activities to diagnose root challenges and distill qualitative and quantitative data into meaningful insights.
Partner with teams to effectively solve unstructured problems to deliver on design strategy, experience design, organizational culture, and change enablement.
Successfully deliver on multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on excellence in service delivery and growing the team’s capabilities.
Create work plans including project staffing, project approach, fee optimization, and resource requests.
Manage consulting engagements, review project performance, track project budget, and deliver to workplans.
Promote thought leadership on education strategy, real estate and capital planning, culture transformation and change management.
Play a meaningful role in firm leadership by enabling professional development, mentoring, team leadership, and recruiting.
Participate actively in sales pursuits and proposal development.
ABOUT YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
You are a quick study and have a degree in business or a design related field.
You have at least 3 years of experience immersed in education strategy and change.
You tend to favor both sides of your brain equally. People describe you as analytical and creative.
You are creative in approach, a critical thinker and are meticulous about your work product.
You are a wizard in qualitative facilitation and exhibit executive gravitas.
You are a pro in using PowerPoint, Excel, Tableau/Power BI, Adobe Creative Suite, Visio and virtual collaboration tools.
You are comfortable with regular travel for client work and internal meetings.

The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $85,000 annually. This salary range is the range we believe is the anticipated range of possible base compensation at the timing of the posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the anticipated salary range for the position. Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses. We offer a full benefit package including medical, dental and vision coverage and flexible spending account options and voluntary insurances. We have paid time off, flex-time summer hours, remote work options and a 401k plan and employee perk programs.
