Candidate must be flexible with availability, Monday- Friday and must be available 7:30am until 6:30pm as shifts vary throughout this time period weekly with no set shifts given so candidate must be available always for this time frame.

We are seeking an individual for long term employment within our growing business with a passion in animal care.

Canine Comforts Doggie Daycare is looking for a mature, hardworking, conscientious and reliable individual who shows initiative. Candidate must have a compassion for dogs and show attention to detail. Candidate must be able to think and react quickly on their own, and be able to multitask in a fast pace environment without supervision, candidate must also be able to follow directions from management and work in a team atmosphere.

Previous experience is a benefit but you will be trained to supervise the dogs in appropriate play and ensure playing in a safe manner.

You will be on your feet for many consecutive hours, you must be able to stand, bend and walk around during your full shift while taking care of the dogs in all weather conditions.

We have a very strict NO cell phone policy during work hours, if you cannot adhere to this policy do not apply.

You must be comfortable with dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperaments.

The ability to hold a least 50+ lbs of moving dog will be required at times. This position is Very Physical.

You will be responsible for supervising large groups of friendly but active dogs; directing their play, interrupting problems and making sure all dogs are safe and enjoying the daycare experience.

You must be attentive in being able to make observations about dog behaviours and health.

We are also a full dog spa so must be comfortable with bathing and drying dogs using various spa products and grooming tools. You will be trained in proper bathing techniques.

You must have great customer service skills and very comfortable with computer as job will also involve administrative and sales skills. Knowledge of raw feeding would be a benefit as we sell raw pet food.

Daily extensive cleaning of facility is required to provide the healthiest environment possible for the dogs. This will involve some heavy lifting and being able to move quickly, with lots of lifting and bending and following directions for cleaning without supervision.

All employees must be double vaccinated. Face coverings maybe worn when dealing with customers. Hand sanitizer is available throughout facility and extensive cleaning of facility is done daily.
