The Web-based Cancer Resources team in the Cancer Services and Information Division is responsible for the delivery of a number of web-based resources used by healthcare providers, patients and other health agencies and organisations. These web-based resources include eviQ Education, eviQ, Patient Information and Patient Reported Measures. eviQ Education provides cancer education resources to clinicians and health professionals around Australia and globally.
What you’ll be doing
The eLearning Production Lead – eviQ Education leads the development and design of interactive education resources for the eviQ Education program. The role manages and coordinates project teams and subject matter experts to deliver outcomes. This role also provides expert advice on the most appropriate, contemporary eLearning production technologies and techniques, taking into consideration the target audience and learning outcomes of the education resource.
In this role you will be required to work with clinical subject matter experts and clinical committees to design online education resources for cancer professionals. You will have demonstrated experience in eLearning production, including visual and instructional design. Essential to the role will be your ability to influence clinical subject matter experts and clinical advisory committees.

Essential requirements
  • Appropriate qualifications in training, assessment or education or related discipline or demonstrated equivalent, relevant industry/professional experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in instructional design, eLearning development and creating a range of interactive, self-paced online learning products.
  • Experience working in a team environment and with experience in guiding non-eLearning practitioners in the design of complex learning solutions.
  • Proven experience producing high quality storyboards/wireframing, video, animation, audio, graphics and eLearning modules.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and proven experience working with stakeholder groups and subject matter experts (SME) from clinical health services (oncology/haematology preferred).
  • Superior verbal and written communications skills including knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation.
  • Computer literacy and ability to use software programs including Microsoft suite, Adobe creative suite and Articulate 360.
If successful for interview candidates must bring original copies of essential qualifications to be sighted by the panel, and one copy to provide to panel.
Pre-screening questions
  • Outline a time when you have utilised video and/or animation in order to maximise the quality and effectiveness of online learning resources. In your answer please describe the reason/rationale for your choice to utilise video and/or animation and your role in the production/design of these assets.
  • Outline a time you have needed to negotiate significant changes to an eLearning resource with a non-eLearning practitioner (e.g. subject matter expert or reviewer). How did you ensure both effective working relationships and positive resource/project outcomes were maintained?
