The Canalta Group of Companies is a privately held Canadian owned company focusing on the manufacturing and service of industrial control and measurement equipment, specifically targeting the gas industry and supplying product internationally. We are currently recruiting for a Supplier QC Inspector at our head office in Red Deer, AB.

What will you do?

Inspect and evaluate supplier 1st article samples and prototypes

Reference drawings and engineering specifications to identify dimension and tolerance requirements

Identify methods of testing and perform function tests to evaluate sample or prototype compliance

Complete sample evaluation reports

Review of supplier reports and material test certificates

Initiate and investigate NCRs and recommend disposition of materials

What do you need?

Technical certification in Materials Engineering or comparable field is an asset

Experience operating and programming CMM equipment

Minimum 1 year experience in similar position
