Canal Cartage Company Hiring for Customer Service Representative at Houston, TX Full Time

• Receive and process all orders from customers in a timely fashion which may include:
• Ensuring bookings are correct and on file
• Releasing equipment for correct size/type
• Coordinating loading/unloading appointments with warehouses/ customers
• Troubleshooting issues that arise at ports/ rails/ depots/ warehouses
• Maintaining consistent communication with customer about their orders
• Notifying customers of any issues that may arise in a timely manner
• Maintain constant contact with dispatch regarding delays and/ or issues

Successful candidates possess the following skills:

• Ability to multi-task and adjust to quickly changing priorities in a fast pace environment
• Basic computer skills (Email, Microsoft products)
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proven and effective time management skills
• Be a team player who promotes a team-oriented environment
• Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
• Bilingual a plus
• Prior intermodal drayage experience preferred
