Canadian Security Professionals is currently seeking a full time Technical Support & Customer Service Representative to join our team working out of our Ancaster office. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling technical support issues, customer service, supporting our sales and installation teams, some inbound sales calls from customers that call into our office looking to get a security system, and various other duties.

• General knowledge of customer service practices
• Good telephone communication skills and a sound understanding of customer situations
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Technically inclined skill set
• Time management / Multi-tasking abilities

Responsibilities:

• Provide over the phone technical assistance to customers
• Assist customers with an assortment of customer service issues
• Data entry
• Great attention to detail
• Handling important documents
• Performs all duties effectively and in a timely fashion
• Some Inside Sales (Inbound Only – no cold calling)

Hours of work rotates each week between the following two schedules;

Week 1
Monday to Thursday – 1PM to 9PM
Friday 1 PM to 7PM

Week 2
Monday to Friday 11AM to 7PM
Saturday 11AM to 4PM

This is an in office position and the successful candidate will have their own work area.

The hourly wage to start is $17.00-19.00 per hour depending on experience. Commission and Bonuses from inbound sales can increase your pay by an average of $1-3/hour to start. Full Benefits for the successful candidate after 6 months of employment.

Training will be provided. Experience in customer service, tech support, and sales an asset but not required.
