Canadian Plasma Resources (CPR) is a pharmaceutical manufacturer licensed by Health Canada and certified by the European Union (EU) and the International Quality Plasma Program (IQPP). CPR is a source member of the Plasma Protein Therapeutics Association (PPTA).
CPR collects quality plasma from healthy donors. That plasma is used for further manufacturing into therapies to treat various health conditions.
Position Summary:
The Operations Associate will report directly to the Operations Manager and assist with the day-to-day activities of the company, including purchasing and inventory of all materials, equipment and vendor management. The Operations Associate will also assist the CEO and COO with financial management and company communications.
Position Responsibilities:
1. Assists with inventory, purchasing, and vendor management to ensure departmental goals are met.
2. Assists with operational evaluations and identifies opportunities for improvement.
3. Assists with the implementation of policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations and ensure work environments are adequate and safe.
4. Assists with company communications including managing the company general inquiry inbox.
5. Completes financial management duties as requested such as bookkeeping tasks, invoicing and assisting with donor compensation.
6. Performs other related duties as assigned.
