Canadian Fiber Optics is Looking for Accounting Student Full Time

Job Summary:

An accounting student is responsible for supporting the day-to-day finance function. We’re looking for someone who can provide high-quality work while working efficiently. This position will report to the Controller and be supervised by the Junior Accountant for a term length of 8 months starting in May 2023.

Responsibilities:

• Process invoices
• Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts
• Assist in the preparation of month end reports
• Contribute to project work
• General office work

Qualifications:

• Enrolled in a post-secondary institution with a focus in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including but not limited to Excel
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team
