About The Canadian Centre for Men and Families (CCMF)
*
Canadian Centre for Men and Families (CCMF) has been operating since 2013, initially in Toronto and has local branches nationwide.
Our mission is to provide support services for men and their children who are struggling due to intimate relationship breakdown and turmoil.
Programs tap into the power of lived experience with many of them utilizing a peer support format. They help equip men to manage stressful situations and minimize escalation to acute mental health crises. Improved well-being for these men means reduced suicide, optimal parenting outcomes, and reduced family violence. Improving men’s mental health makes them better dads, safer workers, and more engaged contributing members of their communities.
As with many other agencies in the social services sector, we have seen a dramatic increase in the number of inquiries since the beginning of 2020. In response, we are looking for compassionate individuals to join our team of amazing Intake Agents.
CCMF staff and volunteers commit to deporting ourselves with professionalism, ethics, and a caring nature. All individuals involved are expected to strive toward achieving the organization’s vision and uphold our values of equality, fairness, truth, collaboration, and engagement.
The CCMF is governed by the Canadian Association for Equality (CAFE), a registered educational charity
Program Vision
CCMF’s client engagement process is compassionate, trauma informed, timely, effective, client centric, standardized and robust, scalable, concise and well documented. The CCMF sets a gold standard for industry best practice
Position Overview
Potential clients reach out to CCMF in a number of ways including the website, email, or voicemail. The Intake Coordinators contact those potential clients and connect them to programs. The Intake Administrator (IA) is a key member of the CCMF national intake team. The IA is responsible for getting client information ready in the client management database so that the Intake Coordinators can effectively and efficiently support potential clients. This is done through the transcription of emails and voicemails into the client management software.
We are seeking a self-driven individual who is happy to take on the administrative tasks that support the national intake team. We are seeking an individual who can dedicate up to 10 hours per week, spread throughout the week.
