We are looking for a System Administrator for Veracode Application Security Tool.

Given the size and scope of our organization, we have the flexibility for this position to be located in the following head office locations: Toronto, London, Winnipeg.

Role description

Successful candidate will serve as System Administrator for Veracode, responsible for setup, monitoring, license governance and maintenance. The candidate will work closely with Information Security and Application teams to setup new Application Profiles, Users, Teams and Business Units. The individual must have good analytical and technical skills coupled with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders and mentor new users effectively.

What you will do

Provide support to the Veracode Tool

Deploy user licenses as per agreed policy

Configure Veracode tool for the test teams use

Assist with onboarding tool users from different departments

Plan, coordinate testing procedures and schedules

Collaborate with vendor on tool administration and support

Act as a key point of contact for all Security testing related matters within project, provide QA services, manual and test automation work within SDLC both local and remote

Work closely with the rest of the product development team to provide security testing to code delivery process

What you will bring

Practical experience providing admin support to security verification systems

Knowledge of Veracode – security scanning tool

Proficiency in trouble-shooting and problem-solving with paying attention to details

Practical experience with Continuous Integration and testing frameworks (e.g. Jenkins, Bamboo, Selenium, Cucumber, SoapUI, Postman, JUnit, JMeter, NodeJS)

Solid understanding of Application based solutions, WSDL/XML, JavaScript, Ajax technologies

Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence collaboration tools

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and within a team

Effective communication skills and self-driver

Good in web applications and server level testing

Required competencies:
Bachelor Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent degree required

Minimum 2+ progressive software testing experience related to Software Delivery projects
