Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Planning

Production board – Daily update output/balance/shipping numbers

Bulk Pitstop (Dashboard) –

Change the bulk priority sequence as per style plan updates-

Update thread availability per MPO –

Attend daily meeting to discuss pre-production status

Planning Meeting – (CGS1)

Facilitate weekly planning meeting with CGS1 supervisors

Take note of any foreseeable delays in productions in relation to all needed supplies (threads, cut works, trims, etc)

Planning Meeting – (CGT)

Update and share CGS MPO status with CGT production coordinator in preparation to the weekly status meeting with CGT team.

Attend weekly planning meeting with CGT team – discussing MPO updates as per months’ delivery

Raise any issues/concern that may cause any delivery issues

Coordinate any quality issues with QA team

Check and request needed PPS for new styles

Coordinate with CGT for any manual/BOM issues

Request cut works requirement/priorities as per style plan and months’ delivery

Save MPO pdf copies for CGS1 team reference of all existing and future order according to month delivery

Check D365 on a daily basis to check movement of RM’s and on hand inventory

Trims/Cutworks

Visit each bundler and check if any RM’s or cut work is required –

Request missing items for all work area (production line, bulk, packing)

Follow-up status of request/s

Check the receiving section to check for urgent Raw Material request (RMR) and hand them over to needed parties (bundler, supervisor, packing) –

Visit CGS2 for urgent matters related to trims or recuts

Collect all pick list (transfer order) from the receiving section

Send receiving confirmation to Raw Material Inventory team

Collect overage return list from bundlers-

Request transfer order for the return of overages

Arrange return of all overage RM’s

Down

Confirm receipt of down to Inventory control

Update Procurement on any issues related to down (shipment)

Collect Down Production Chart (DPC) log to all down fill station

Update DPC report as per data collected –

Send generated report to compliance (traceability/Sourcemap)

Perform down inventory/down reconciliation monthly

Request return of all down bags as per supplier

Final Area

Reconcile Finished goods received at the final area

Request skids, boxes, and gaylords needed in the packing area

Supplies

Keep an eye on the inventory of supplies –

Thread – Ensure Inventory is accurate as per type/color

Eyelets/Washers – Maintain the inventory as per production needs

New Material Labels – Maintain the inventory as per production needs

Order supplies as per requirement

Qualifications

Experience, Education and Designations:
2 years of experience supporting a production department in an administrative capacity

Degree in Industrial Engineering or Textile Manufacturing asset but not required

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

• Excellent MS Office skills
• ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software experience as asset but not required
• Excellent written and verbal English skills (other languages an asset)
• Highly detail-oriented, organized and able to multi-task
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, operate proactively, work as a team and handle challenges
• Excellent common sense, decision-making abilities, interpersonal and analytical skills
• Ability to evaluate options and generate solutions
• Confident, articulate, organized, detail oriented, goal oriented, self-motivated and hard working
