Job Description
The LRP Analyst is responsible to analyze, create and present scenarios and models of risks and opportunities for the team. This role supports the data maintenance and tracking of Canada Goose domestic Manufacturing headcount, production line profiles, external contractor profiles and other facets of long-range scenario planning, as assigned. The LRP Analyst makes informed and data-driven recommendations to the team – highlighting trends, patterns and outliers detections, to support in decision making.
Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain the tracking and forecasting of all in-house production and external contractor headcount and operational profiles.
Support the MFG Strategy team in partnering with Financial Planning & Analysis Operations team to drive a 3-5 year strategic production planning roadmap.
Utilizing operational and tactical planning data, provide support to strategy formulation and forecasting.
Create scenarios and modeling of risks and opportunities to the Manufacturing LRP. Dynamic reporting in Excel and Power BI an asset.
Support the team to build a Manufacturing long-range calendar to achieve the priority plans.
Help facilitate monthly future capacity meetings.
Collaborate with Finance, HR and Capacity Planning to determine and achieve LRP.
Analyze current style assignment at all in-house production and external contractors vs. future requirements at a category level. Provide insights to future changes of product category that will affect the current MFG landscape.
Experience, Education and Designations:
University degree
Experience working with multiple stakeholders, effectively communicating and partnering with cross-functional partners to deliver business goals
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an analytical role
Strong understanding of Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:
Possess proven abilities to communicate and deliver results
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Demonstrated critical thinking skills
Comfort with ambiguity, able to assess current state and support in vision of future states
Interpersonal and analytical skills, evaluating options and generating solutions
Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
Demonstrated strong proficiency in MS office applications
Experience with Power BI reporting, an asset
Strong experience and skilled in using ERP system
A proven team player with a collaborative mindset
Working Conditions:
Office and manufacturing environment
Travel may be required
