PART-TIME Great Opportunity for an experienced truck driver (CDL not required) to service clients in a safe and timely manner on a super cool truck with an emphasis on customer service. Tow Truck, Firetruck, farm equipment, dock truck or ambulance driving experience is a plus. Hours vary but are approximately 15-25 hours per week ranging from 10 am to 3pm, with opportunity for more. Based out of Prescott, driving routes include St Paul, eastern and souther suburbs.

Qualifications

• Valid Driving License
• 2 Years of Driving Experience with a Dock Truck or similar
• Clean Driving record free of recent moving or driving violations
• Able to easily get in and out of the truck and into and out of the rear mounted operating cab
• No Smoking environment including trucks, company property and customers’ property
• Able to pass drug tests

Responsibilities

• Pre & Post vehicle inspection for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Follow a local routed plan and meet time schedules
• Operate hydraulic arm to compact trash at customer’s dumpster as needed while following all company policies and training guidelines
• Document and log routed customer stops, work results, rest periods and retain fuel receipts
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• defects, accidents or violations

Skills

• Proven work experience as a truck driver (Dock truck, Tow Truck, Fire Truck)
• Some Diesel, Mechanical & Hydraulic experience is preferred for preventative maintenance
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, customer demands etc)
• Self Starter who takes great pride in their vehicle & equipment
• Customer service & good communication skills
