General Summary

The Manager, DSD Technology Deployment is responsible for management of front-line sales devices and all related hardware/accessories. Leading a team of two, principal accountabilities include maintaining vendor relationships and contracts, procuring devices, managing a cost center budget, oversee testing, as well as develop and deploy training to front-line sales. In conjunction with deploying a large-scale upgrade to physical devices, this team is also responsible for deploying the Korber OTS (IDP Order Management) software as part of the upgrade initiative. This role works in key partnership with the Information Technology team, Customer Support, and Field Sales. As a key leader on the DSD Technology Enablement team, you will collaborate closely with the broader team to deliver a seamless experience for field sales.

Principal Responsibilities

• Oversee project to roll out tablet technology upgrade to IDPs. Create detailed rollout plan in conjunction with IT, Customer Service, and Field Sales
• Develop and deliver training program using “train the trainer” approach and/or virtual training for IDPs to be determined
• Manage tablet deployment plan communications
• Work with POS portal and/or other vendors to forecast required devices and maintain adequate inventory
• In conjunction with physical tablet rollout, this team will also be responsible for training field sales on the utilization of Korber order management software as well as software upgrade testing, ongoing OM training, communications related to OM, error resolution, and workarounds
• Maintain KPIs tracking testing, training, rollout, and effectiveness of front line devices
• Ensure no business disruption by maintaining legacy hardware lease pool (SL CN51/ZQ52, PF CN70/PB51) as well as future-state tablet deployment
• Negotiate vendor contracts with Honeywell, Velocitor, Korber, and other key vendors. Manage vendor relationship and scorecarding
• Generate all legacy device communications as needed. (Tablet updates, service shutdowns, 3G sunset, etc.)
• Collaborate closely with the broader technology enablement team to deliver a seamless experience for field sales
• Lead team of two in delivering team objectives & key results

Job Specifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience
