Camp Winaukee Office Manager

Come have the summer of your life in New Hampshire! Camp Winaukee is looking for an Office Manager to be at the hub of everything going on at camp: helping keep camp running and operating smoothly for everyone. You will do this by working with campers, parents, and all staff to help communicate and navigate our daily life.

Camp Winaukee is a residential boys’ camp on Lake Winnipesaukee in Moultonborough, New Hampshire about 2 hours north of Boston. Winaukee offers 4 and 7 week sessions for boys aged 7-15.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Learn to use our internal camping operating system
• Communicating and building relationships with parents: both phone and email
• Assisting Leadership staff with any paperwork/projects as needed (Excel)
• Assisting with execution of trips off camp
• Managing daily mail: incoming and outgoing
• Responding to all incoming inquiries
• Setting up camper phone calls
• Accessing and providing staff with any necessary information from computer system
• Photocopying/printing/laminating
• Running miscellaneous errands within camp

The office role is critical to the daily functioning of camp. As an office employee, you are the initial point of contact for any visitors arriving on campus and therefore can impact a visitor’s first impression. This requires a positive attitude, effective communication skills, and professionalism. Office staff may be required to put in long hours and do whatever is asked to make camp the best it can be.

Compensation:

• Salary: $2100-$3000 dependent upon experience
• Travel stipend
• All housing and meals covered
