Responsibilities

• Provides customers an exceptional before and after the sale experience that encourages a long lasting relationship with our company
• Engages customers in a welcoming manner using a variety of tools and selling skills to promote customer loyalty
• Attains strong product knowledge through various training activities
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills and a high level of integrity with both customers and the store team
• Contributes to the achievement of sales goals as established by management
• Processes point of sale transactions accurately and efficiently to ensure correct information is collected
• Collaborates in the creation and execution of merchandise displays
• Ensures sales floor stock levels are maintained as directed and within the store’s visual standards
• Manages accurate inventory according to policies and procedures
• Demonstrates the ability to accurately receive and prepare merchandise for the sales floor
• Utilizes practices as directed by management to minimize losses from theft and poor inventory control
• Assists in maintaining a clean, neat and organized store environment
• Enjoys working as part of a team and takes initiative with minimal supervision
• Supports all areas of operational excellence
• Protects company assets and maintains a safe work environment
• Follows all company policies and procedures as well as local, state and federal employment laws

Requirements

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
• Confident and motivated by the opportunity to interact with customers
• Friendly, out-going, open-minded, engaging personality
• Strong time management, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to receive feedback and take action when appropriate
• Basic math and computer proficiency
• Can safely lift 25 lbs. while maneuvering throughout the sales floor and stockroom
• Available to work a variety of hours including certain holidays and weekends
