Camp Latona is Looking for Prep Cook/Dishwasher Full Time

Camp Latona is looking for a talented and engaging prep cook for a children’s summer camp located on the north side of gorgeous Gambier Island. Must have a positive attitude and be a team player. Camp is all about the atmosphere of youth and fun we create, and as a part of the kitchen team, you’re at the heart! If you want to spend the summer working in one of the most beautiful locations in a camp kitchen providing 3 meals and snacks for kids, families, and our wonderful staff, we want to hear from you!

Skills:

– Prepares salad / veggie trays, cutting washing fruit and vegetables

-Assist with the preparation of meals

– proper cooking and food handling

– ability to address dietary restrictions

– ensure proper food storage and handling

-proper sanitation with dishes & cutlery

-responsible for kitchen cleanliness (mopping, garbage, organization and cleaning)

– ideal candidate brings cooking experience and baking

Additionally

– ability to work fast pace in work environment

– strong organizational skills

– ability to multi – task

– exceptional knowledge for health & safety of the kitchen

Position is seasonal from mid May to the end of September.

Compensation : $134 daily wage
Benefits: Room and Boar

Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

Salary: $134.00 per day

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
