Accounting Assistant

Camp Champions on beautiful Lake LBJ is seeking a part-time (approx. 20 hours/week to start), experienced Accounting Assistant. The ideal candidate will be able to work well in a casual and fast-paced, energetic environment with a positive attitude. Attention to detail and accuracy is required. This position requires the candidate to work well in a team environment and have excellent communication skills. QuickBooks, Excel and Word experience is preferred and the pay is commensurate with experience. This may transition in to a full time position with benefits.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices and daily transactions and expenses
• Perform administrative support functions
• Update and maintain accounting database with data entry and reports
• Handle monthly and quarterly reports
• Handle day-to-day accounting duties including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Tax filings, Booking journal entries, Reconciling credit card and bank accounts
• Communicate with clients via phone and email as necessary
• Support administrative duties as necessary

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience working in Accounting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly detail-oriented
