Camp Augusta Hiring for Summer Camp Counselor at Nevada City, California Full Time

Camp Augusta is looking for folks who have a calling. We are a 90 acre, non-profit, residential summer camp located in the Sierra Nevada mountains of Northern California, and offer a one-of-a-kind experience for campers and staff alike. A summer in the woods with us is centered around two primary pillars:

1. An incredible amount of FUN. Camp Augusta’s engine runs on a potent fuel of imagination, creativity, intentionality, dreams, and saying ‘yes’. From immersive, otherworldly all-camp programs to 150+ clinics from beekeeping to high ropes to ancient weaponry, to 7 closets of costumes and props to utilize, campers and staff work together to create unique experiences that are unmatched in innovation and adventure!
    
2. Meaningful GROWTH. We are fully invested in supporting the development of empathy, self-confidence, independence, social skills, and creativity within all of our campers (ages 8-16). Staff will learn an enormous amount about living in a community, transferable communication skills, time management, program development, and themselves throughout their time at Camp Augusta.

Counselor positions offer $3400 for May 17-August 13th (including room and board), with additional pay available for pre and post-season work, and are open to all who will be at least 19 by May 17th. Optionally, there is also pre and post-season work available, with groups and camp work to be done from early May to mid-September.
