Key Responsibilities:

• Operate radio equipment to transmit and receive messages accurately and efficiently
• Monitor radio frequencies to ensure clear and uninterrupted communication
• Follow established procedures and protocols for transmitting messages
• Record and log incoming and outgoing messages accurately and timely
• Maintain and perform routine checks on radio equipment to ensure proper functioning
• Respond to requests for information or assistance from field teams or other personnel
• Collaborate with other team members to relay critical information in a timely manner
• Maintain knowledge of radio operation regulations and guidelines
• Provide support during emergencies or critical situations to facilitate communication

Requirements:

• At the minimum Bachelors degree in STEM ; additional relevant certifications are a plus
• 4+ years of experience as a Radio Operator or in a similar role in Aviation or Space is a must
• Proficiency in operating radio communication equipment and systems
• Strong understanding of radio communication protocols and procedures
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Attention to detail and accuracy in recording messages and information
• Ability to stay calm and composed in fast-paced or emergency situations
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required
• Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations related to radio communication is preferred
