Expense management analysts are expected to be detail oriented, knowledgeable on statistics, have strong problem-solving skills, work comfortably under pressure, and deliver on tight deadlines. As an expense management analyst, you will possess an in-depth knowledge of accounting and expense-management systems, as well as basic computer software. The successful candidate will also be an excellent communicator, with superb presentation and problem-solving skills.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Using documents to verify, record, and process transactions

• Vendor statement reconciliation

• Create allocation and accrual journal entries

• Assisting the accounting department in daily, monthly, and annual activities, including generating financial reports, developing budgets, preparing taxes, and assisting with audits and resolving discrepancies.

• Perform accounting closing duties with a special focus on IT Services, as a Service, IT Telecoms, Storage Services and Cloud Services.

• Coordinate reconciliation of sub ledger accounts and general ledger

• Provide and support appropriate levels of reviews and oversight for activities performed by offshore associates

• Ensure all deadlines and schedules are met on time and in accordance with Service Level Agreements

• Document workflow, procedures, checklists, and policies for assigned tasks

• Confirm and abide by all internal procedures, policies and regulatory guidance

• Speaking with vendors and suppliers to ensure charges are accurate and that payments are received in a timely manner.

• Communicating with clients to discuss account statuses, charges, or discrepancies.

• Coordinate with management to ensure cost forecasting reports are consistently checked and applied.

• Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.

Qualifications / Work Experience:

• 3+ year of experience working in a similar role

• Finance or Accounting Tertiary qualification

Additional Skills / Experience:

• Should be able to communicate (written and oral) in Mandarin

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,000.00 – $62,000.00 per year
