Cameo Consultancy Hiring for Financial Controller at Banbury Full Time

We are looking for a results driven and dynamic Commercial Financial Controller to join this established and growing SME company within the food industry to work closely with the Finance Manager and team. This position is offered on a fixed term maternity contract for up to 9 months.

As the Commercial Finance Controller, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial direction of the business and to facilitate growth.

Key responsibilities for the Commercial Financial Controller

• Review and enhance existing management accounting activities
• Budgeting, financial planning and variance ing experiences
• Manage and optimise financial controls, policies, and procedures
• Provide accurate s, metrics to the commercial team, Senior Leadership Team, and CEO
• Analyse customer profitability and provide insights for decision-making
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage financial aspects of business contracts
• Lead the finance team (3), fostering collaboration and teamwork

Experience, Skills, and Attributes required:

• An accountancy qualification ACA, ACCA, or CIMA or qualified by experience
• Proven experience in financial management
• Strong expertise in financial controls, ing, and budgeting
• Familiarity with accounting software, particularly Sage
• Leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables, and power queries
• High ethical standards and integrity
• A sense of ownership, pride in performance, and a passion for excellence
