Cambrian College Hiring for Position #-RL – Art and Animation Model (RPT Less Than Months Position) at Sudbury, MA Full Time

Cambrian College’s School of Creative Industries has an immediate requirement for a regular part-time Art and Animation Model. This work is performed under supervision of a class Instructor during class hours. The individual will need to be available between the hours of 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.

All body types are welcome.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Body awareness and the ability to twist, turn, bend, and accentuate the three-dimensional qualities of the human form in poses is required.
• Ability to hold poses from 30 seconds to as long as 15 minutes.
• String short poses together for quick gestural drawings, as well as construct interesting poses from a variety of views.
• Must be comfortable posing clothed or uncovered.

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum of a one-year postsecondary certificate in any field.
• No experience necessary.
• Ability to hold poses for extended periods of time.
• Stamina and flexibility.
• Respect for the classroom and the importance and discipline of drawing the human form.

Additional Assets/Preferred

• Previous Artist’s model experience.
• Previous life drawing experience.
• Previous athletic, dance, theatre, or performance experience.
