The Contract Talent Acquisition Specialist will research, develop, and implement effective talent strategies to attract, assess, hire, develop and promote a diverse population of qualified and capable talent for the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
• Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available talent pool, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
• Creates and manages external job postings
• Screens applications, conducts initial phone screens and manages relationship-building and communication with qualified candidates.
• Schedules interviews and oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
• Maintains and updates weekly, monthly and yearly Corporate KPI’s and reporting requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field & 5+ years of experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Talent Acquisition experience in the automotive manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of local and national employment laws.
• Experience with various applicant tracking systems and social media sites (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
• High volume recruiting experience preferred

Preferred Education and Experience

• Minimum 5 years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources or related field
• Experience executing talent assessment and development processes

• Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position oversees the application, administration and compliance of Corporate Guidelines. This position may oversea a team of Talent Specialists in the future.
