About the role
The Accountant is responsible for the management of the Financial Accounting functions, and to assist with the preparation of annual statutory accounts, monthly reporting and month end close, annual budget preparation, and BAS/FBT.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accountant is a critical member of a close knit team who provides support across a broad range of finance functions, incorporating governance functions to assist with audit requirements.
This is a 12 month fixed term full time position based at St John’s hospital, where graduates are welcome to apply.

- Bachelor of Business (Accounting)
- CPA/CA membership desirable
- Evidence of Covid-19 Vaccination
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and computer savvy with programs including Excel & Finance systems
- Healthcare experience will be highly regarded
