About the role

We are currently seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our Southbank Office in Melbourne. Reporting too Finance Business Partners you will be responsible for;

Preparation/review of monthly management accounts, reconciliations and related reports

Preparation/review of group BAS reports

Preparation and lodgement of annual WorkCover returns

Managing and tracking key operational metrics across the business and escalating any relevant issues to Management

Assist the Finance Business partners with finance-related issues/queries and provide commercial insight

Assisting in the annual budgeting process and reforecasting through the year

Ad hoc financial analysis as and when required by senior management

Coaching and development of the Assistant Accountant and Financial Accountant

Ad hoc tasks as directed by the General Manager – Finance and Finance Business Partners

What you bring

Tertiary level qualification

CA/CPA qualified

4-6 years’ experience in an accounting/finance role

Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel, Word and finance / ERP systems

COVID-19 vaccination is a mandatory requirement unless assessed exempt

Influenza vaccination is a mandatory requirement unless assessed exempt
