POSITION: ASSOCIATE SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

BASIC FUNCTIONS:

The Associate Software Developer analyzes, designs, develops and implements new systems solutions to improve efficiency by supporting and enhancing the company’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Manufacturing Execution (MES) Systems.

The functions of this role include but are not limited to:

• Working knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Understanding of Software Design, Development, and Testing Principles
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Collaborating with management, internal customers to identify end-user requirements and specifications
• Gathering user requirements and translate those requirements into functional and/or technical specifications for development.
• Analyzing current business processes and propose improvements
• Designing algorithms and flowcharts to create new software or upgrade software and systems
• Developing, testing and deploying programs and applications
• Troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining and improving existing software
• Strong interpersonal communication skills

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Experience on Manufacturing Industries preferable Process Industries

• Experience one or more the following programming languages: ABAP, Java, C++, PL/SQL.
• Proficient on Microsoft applications; Office (Excel, Word, Access, Power Point), Project, Visio.
• Experience using project management and collaboration software such as JIRA, Slack, Gsuite.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
