Animal Health Science trains students that want to be registered veterinary technicians. A Master of Science degree in Agriculture with a subplan in Animal Science is also available. In addition, minors in Equine Studies, and Animal and Veterinary Sciences are offered.
The department maintains 330 acres of range land and 100 acres of irrigated pastures. It is the only four-year program with animal production units in southern California. In addition, horses are available at the W. K.
