California International School Hiring for Elementary School Teacher Full Time

This position is for a teacher for Upper Elementary students. The candidate would be teaching ELA and Social Studies to 5th and 6th grade students in a project-based learning school.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
• Out-of-State or California Credential Preferred
• Master’s Degree Preferred
• Preference will be given to candidates who have at least one year of teaching experience in elementary school

JOB EXPECTATIONS:

• Prepare lessons with a project-based, backwards lesson design in mind
• Work with students integrating a whole child, international learning focus
• Able to teach core elementary STEM subjects of Math and Science and some specialties such as music, science or art using an interdisciplinary approach

This is an salary position and the rate is based upon experience and education but ranges between $48,000-$55,000 per year
