Calibre Search Looking for Structural Technician – Revit CAD RC at Sheffield, South Yorkshire Full Time

My client are a Built Environment specialist Consultancy with over 50 years experience in the UK Marketplace. Due to an increase in workload, their Head Office in Sheffield is looking for a Technician with Revit, RC and CAD experience to join their existing team.

The opportunity is to support the Lead on the production of Revit Models & CAD drawings for all stages of design ensuring the effective design of some of the most exciting building design projects in the world. My client have worked on a number of High Profile buildings in the region, with some projects over the £100m mark and have a number of prestigious projects in process now.

Working with their established team of Engineers and Revit/CAD Technicians, you will be responsible for the production and supervision of coordinated 3D BIM models using Revit. You will produce detailed 2D CAD general assemblies and as part of your role, help mentor more junior CAD staff in the use of Revit/CAD.

All the work will be Revit and 3D Modelling, so experience in this field is vital, as well as RC and Steel Detailing. The post would suit someone who has worked in similar role for a number of years, who can produce Revit models with little supervision for building related projects. You should ideally hold a Civil Engineering qualification.
