An opportunity has come about for a Structural CAD technician in Leamington Spa. This is a great chance to join an established company with over 45 years’ experience in the industry. In summary, your role will be to prepare Civil and Structural Engineering drawings and details using AutoCAD and other duties depending on your ability such as designs and surveys. You will be the primary CAD resource for a team of give engineers within the office and will be expected to be flexible and adaptive I the type of work undertaken and support the wider group.
You should be proficient in AutoCAD with some reinforcement detailing and can work on multiple projects at the same time. Workload will vary; however, the bulk of your work is low-medium rise structures. Some experience using Revit will be useful as it is becoming more common in everyday usage within the company.
You will be expected and supported to get a Professional qualification alongside your academic qualification, you will also be encouraged to advance within the project team and company hierarchy. This advancement will depend on your ability to demonstrate your capabilities and commitment to a career within the company.
