Calibre Search Looking for Senior Civil Engineer at Nottingham, Nottinghamshire Full Time

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Civil Engineer to join a small but established team in Nottingham city centre.

You will be reporting directly to the companies’ directors and will be responsible for managing a team of Engineers and Technicians to complete schemes for numerous clients whilst maintaining open communication with other teams within the business.

You will be expected to maintain excellent client care and customer – focussed solutions, all within set deadlines. Flexibility and approachability are key to the role, you should be able to adapt to change to maintain excellent client relationships – which is key to the business approach.

In addition to running the team and delivering deadline driven solutions, you will be expected produce quotes and pre – tender designs, allocate work and look after your own budget and participate in business development activities where required to promote the company.

The company has a history of promoting from within and believe that this is key to a successful business, meaning that there is no glass ceiling and plenty of progression opportunities.

Experience with flood risk, drainage and infrastructure design is a must, the main bulk of the current pipeline of work consists of large housing projects, industrial, and commercial projects.
