Calibre Search Looking for Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer at Leeds, West Yorkshire Full Time

An excellent Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer opportunity has come available in central Leeds to work for an award winning national multi-disciplinary consultancy on a range of high end, complex contaminated land schemes for the likes of Homes England and large-scale developments crossing several sectors.

As a Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer will be sat directly under the Director of Geo with the role as team leader assuring all quality that the team produce and being in charge of mentoring and development (with a full support network). You will also have the opportunity to help build and develop the team in Leeds.

Your role as a Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer will include both technical and project management of schemes from inception through to completion interfacing with various disciplines including civil and structural. This is an office-based role delivering phase’s 1-5 contaminated land risk assessment as well as design and implementation of remedial schemes.

Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer Specification

• Degree/MSc in environmental science or geochemistry.
• At least 10 years contaminated land & remediation experience within a Geo-Environmental or remediation Consultancy
• Excellent technical reporting experience on Phase 1, phase 2, risk assessments and remedial methods.
• Experience project managing and client liaison.
• Management experience of junior engineers/consultants.
• Ideally Geotechnical experience but not essential.
