Calibre Search Looking for Principal Civil Engineer at Derbyshire Full Time

A consultancy in Derby has an urgent need for a Principal Civil Engineer to take a lead role in their Civil Engineering Design team. The firm is an SME with over 60 employees, working for both public and private clients in a range of sectors including housing, education, health, retail, commercial industrial, heritage, care, and leisure.
The team undertakes pre planning engineering reports, designs adoptable highway and drainage works involving SuDS drainage features and private civil engineering works using MicroDrainage and PDS industry standard software with final drawings produced in AutoCAD.
Your role will also involve liaison with clients to take project briefs, prepare quotations and undertake technical reviews. You will project manage and have financial oversight and control of your schemes. You will prepare invoices and monitor the financial success of the work you manage.
