Calibre Search Looking for Principal Civil Engineer at Birmingham, West Midlands Full Time

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Principal Civil Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary consultancy in Birmingham City Centre.

Reporting directly to the companies’ board of directors you will be responsible for managing a team of Engineers and Technicians to complete schemes for numerous clients, whilst also maintaining open communication with other teams within the business.

You should be a highly experienced individual in highway and drainage design, flood risk, section 38, 278, 104 and SUDs design.

You will be expected to maintain excellent client care and customer focussed solutions, set within specific deadlines. This is a company that believes flexibility and approachability are key to this role, you should be able to adapt to maintain excellent client relationships, which is key to the way they approach new business.

Alongside running this team, you will be expected to produce quotes and pre-tender designs, allocate work, and look after your own budget and participate in business development activities where required to promote the company.
