A Civil, Structural and Geo Consultancy are actively recruiting a Junior Civil Engineer to join their Civil and Infrastructure team in their Manchester City Centre office. The company have 3 offices in the North West of England after expanding from their base in Cumbria where they established in 2004.

They’re looking for somebody at the start of their Civil Engineering journey who has a BEng or equivalent in Civil Engineering or an Engineering-related field and ideally has at least some experience, preferably 12-18 months, working in a Consultancy environment in the UK working to either UK standards or Eurocodes.

The company initially began operating out of their Cumbria base in the Nuclear sector before expanding into more mainstream sectors and have also forged a solid reputation in a couple of niche sectors including the Safety Attraction industry and have undertaken work on the likes of the London Eye, Universal Studios Singapore and Blackpool Pleasure Beach among others.

The ideal Junior Civil Engineer will be local to Manchester and live in commutable distance to the City Centre. The office is located near to the Northern Quarter area of the City and due to the Junior nature of the position, the right person will be expected to work largely from the office in order to be given the right support and guidance.

Salaries will start at around £23,000 and could go as high as £28,000 depending on experience. Candidates with up to 2-3 years’ experience will be considered for this role should they wish to apply.
