Intermediate Structural Engineer

My Client are a Regional practice based in the centre of Newcastle. Specialising in Structural, Geotechnical and Civil Engineering, they have been going nearly 30 years and work across a wide range of products

Due to a further increase in workload, they are looking to fill a permanent position within their Structural Engineering team to deal with an increase in workload and assist in the further development and growth of the team and the firm.

You will be on the Chartership pathway (MIStructE or MICE) and have a minimum 3 years design experience in a UK based civil/structural engineering consultancy environment. You will have proven experience on developing residential, commercial and industrial projects from concept to construction stage with further experience with both new build and refurbishment projects.

The job needs you to be proficient in the design of concrete, steel, timber and masonry structures and possess a sound knowledge of current design standards and working practices. A working knowledge of the Eurocodes and Finite Element Analysis packages is essential.

A full UK drivers license is required for this role and the package includes Bonus, pension, healthcare and free parking
