Calibre Search Looking for Infrastructure Design Engineer at Northampton, Northamptonshire Full Time

My client is an established Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy who provide consultancy services in all major sectors, they work on numerous projects for a wide range of clients in both the public and private sectors. They are looking to appoint an experienced Infrastructure Design Engineer to join their multi-disciplinary practice.
You will be joining the Civil Engineering team and provide highways, drainage and external, works design on a wide range of projects, including both new build and refurbishment projects for a client all over the country.
On a day-to-day basis you will be undertaking tasks such as liaising with clients, implementing contracts, carrying out detailed design of roads, drainage and external works including S38 and S278 highway schemes and S104 drainage schemes. As a senior member of staff mentoring the junior engineers in their work will also be a key part of your job.
Excellent communication skills are essential: you should be proficient in AutoCAD, Ground Modelling, Flow and WinDes software’s. Civil 3D, Site 3D, Revit and a knowledge of flood risk assessment or transport planning is desirable.
A high level of project management skills will be essential when managing your portfolio of various projects, and as part of a flexible working environment you will be expected to responsibly manage your own workload.
