Calibre Search Looking for Geo-Environmental Engineer at Manchester, Greater Manchester Full Time

Geo-Environmental Engineer opportunity has come available for an SME Civil, Structural and Geo Consultancy situated in central Manchester where you will be sat directly under the Geo-Environmental lead within a small team giving the opportunity to help manage/deliver a diverse range of building developments from inception through to completion.

You will have the chance to get involved in all aspects of the projects as well as assisting in building/developing the team. Projects surround major residential, commercial, Highrise, industrial and healthcare.

As a Geo-Environmental Engineer, your main responsibilities will include technical, financial and technical delivery of projects on a contaminated land, remediation and geotechnics basis. You will be designing / managing ground investigations then feeding the information through to technical reporting including all but not limited to; Phase 1, Phase 2 – interpretation, remediation method statements, GQRA/DQRA, validation reports and assisting with foundation recommendations/calculations working with internal structural engineers,

Geo-Environmental Engineer Specification | Central Manchester:

• Degree in Geology or Environmental Science whilst obtaining an MSc.
• At least 1 years within a UK Geo-Environmental, contaminated land or Geotechnical consultancy or GI contractor.
• Extensive experience of Phase I Desk Study and Phase II ground Investigations.
• Ideally strong interpretive report writing skills on a contaminated land, remedial and/or geotechnical basis.
• UK driving licence
