Calibre Search Looking for Civil Engineering Technician at Birmingham, West Midlands Full Time

An opportunity has arisen for a Civil Engineering Technician to join a fast growing team based in Birmingham. You will be contributing to the project engineering design by providing 3D/ BIM models, drawings, and technical reporting input at all stages of the design process.
Main duties:

• Production of computer aided design drawings to clients engineering standards and specifications, typical work includes drainage, earthworks, highways, and utility co-ordination.
• Developing 3D/BIM models and CAD design documentation.
• Working in conjunction with multi – disciplinary engineering teams.
• Preparation of simple calculations
• Contributing to providing solutions to design problems.

Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency in using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and PDS
• Proficiency in Computer Aided Design (CAD).
• Ability to work accurately, flexibly and to integrate their work with other discipline areas, whilst working to tight programme and budget constraints.
