Calibre Search Looking for Civil Engineer – Leicester at Leicester, Leicestershire Full Time

An opportunity for a Civil Engineer has come about in Leicester. My client requires an experienced individual of high calibre to assist in the design and detailing of Civil Engineering works associated with a wide variety of major infrastructure projects for private and public sector.

You should be proficient in the design of highway and drainage infrastructure projects with experience in the use of AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MicroDrainage. Projects can range from £1m to £100m covering a range of sectors such as defence, transport, infrastructure, healthcare, education, commercial, industrial and residential.

You will be individually responsibly for a range of project types, manage them independently and be the client’s main point of contact. You will instruct, supervise, and mentor junior members of staff in the design and management of projects.

About you:

• Educated to degree level or equivalent in the field of civil engineering.
• Working towards chartership
• Strong communication skills
• Strong experience and sound knowledge and understanding of highways and drainage infrastructure.
• Fully conversant with sewerage sector guidance (formerly sewers for adoption).
