Position

Calian, Advanced Technologies is looking for a team-player to join our team as an Assembler to build innovative products. As an Assembler you will perform work related to the production of electronics and associated products, working in accordance with prescribed procedures. You will have the ability to work in a hands-on environment to fabricate and inspect printed circuit card assemblies, electrical/electronic sub-assemblies, and/or cable assemblies. You will make an impact by producing parts that come to life to solve a technical problem.

Responsibilities:
Prepare, pre-form, and install components.

Cut, strip, and form cables and/or harness assemblies.

Terminate and install wires, jumper and connector assemblies.

Solder components.

Inspect assembled items for compliance to standards and drawings.

Identify components, including those which require ESD precautions.

Follow prescribed documentation and manufacturing procedures.

Recognize hand tools and know their proper application.

Maintain required level of quality and quantity.

Work well in a team environment.

Learn and observe safety precautions.

Maintain required paperwork.

Perform simple tests.

Assemble CCAs and electro-mechanical assemblies.

Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent (no previous experience required)

A reliable employment history

An interest in working in a team environment
