CALERES Hiring for SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER – Hybrid at St. Louis, Missouri Full Time

We are seeking someone to join our Brand Portfolio Marketing team in St. Louis, MO as a Sr. Graphic Designer.  In this role you will lead the timely conception and design of creative marketing materials, assets and features that meet brand strategy aesthetic.

Responsibilities

As a Sr Graphic Designer, you will:

• Create concepts and develop design for a wide range of projects, both digital and print: ranging from email marketing, website design, social media, video assets, gif animation, direct mail, in-store signage, trade show support and events, etc.
• Creates work that is thoughtful, impactful and relevant to the overall brand strategy aesthetic
• Coordinate with the Creative Director and design manager to ensure design and photography needs are clear and executed at the highest level; at various stages review projects with creative and marketing teams
• Continually research and understand brand competitive environment
• Participate and provide meaningful contributions in brand strategy meetings; prepares any needed materials
• Collaborate for styling/wardrobe, brand identity design, and in house/offsite art direction

Qualifications

We seek people with these qualifications:

• Bachelors in Commercial Art or any other related art degree
• 5+ years’ experience at an Advertising Agency preferred
• Strong understanding of typography and composition (Product photography experience a plus)
• Mac platform and Adobe Creative experience required
