We are seeking someone to join our Wholesale Accounting team in St. Louis, Missouri as a Senior Accountant.  In this role, you will work closely with a collaborative team and have visibility to different areas of the business, including upper management.

Responsibilitie

As a Senior Accountant, you will:

• Timely and accurately complete the month-end closing process of recording journal entries, identifying, and explaining variances to budget and forecast
• Ensure balance sheet and income statement account balances are accurately stated in accordance with GAAP and company policies and procedures
• Maintain general ledger and provide related reporting and analysis at the close of each fiscal period
• Identify and implement best practices to improve efficiency, continually striving for process improvement

Qualifications

We seek people with these qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• 1-3 years general accounting experience
• Retail and/or wholesale experience a plus
