We are seeking someone to join our Famous Footwear team in St. Louis as a Location Planning Specialist. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with an upbeat, innovative, and collaborative team and has a passion for maximizing sales through effective planning.

Responsibilities

As a Location Planning Specialist, you will:

• Function as the subject matter expert in the areas of sales trends, turn, and subclass needs by store for assigned classes.
• Partner with allocation and assortment teams to identify, analyze, and direct change for risks and opportunities by store and classification.
• Partner with the new store team to develop pre/in-season location plans for new and relocating store assortment plans.
• Identify and act upon sales and inventory opportunities that impact the business.
• Maximizes available cross-functional resources and partnerships.
• Effectively partner and collaborate with other location planning specialists to best meet objectives and deadlines.

Qualifications

We seek people with these qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred
• 2+ years’ previous retail planning experience preferred
• Previous merchandising experience preferred
• Advanced Excel skills preferred
