Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Human Resources, Education, or similar field from an accredited institution

Ability to manage and perform a variety of routine and complex assignments with considerable independent judgment

Ability to handle sensitive information with absolute confidentiality

Knowledge and ability to develop, plan for and manage the administrative activities of a Fellowship Education Program.

Skilled in developing short and long-term administrative goals for the Fellowship program to promote effectiveness and efficiency

Knowledge and skill in the use of computer systems and software

Ability and skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with other Fellowship program personnel, Faculty, staff, affiliate institutions, students, and the public

Skill in communicating professionally and effectively both orally and in writing

Skill in using independent judgment and discretion and deciding upon procedures to be implemented, setting priorities, maintaining standards, and resolving problems

Skill in prioritizing, planning, working independently, and organizing work projects and assignments effectively and efficiently

Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to plan and organize Fellowship program needs and activities, establish work priorities, and provide follow-through to ensure completion of all activities

Ability to understand and apply regulatory requirements at the program level

Responsibilities

Develop and provide monthly professional development for our STEM College Fellows

The coordinator should be prepared to provide a broad spectrum of support services, including career development tools and resources, mindset and professional skill training, and pairing students with mentors.

Manage the day-to-day operations for the assigned Fellowship program and Fellows (15+ Fellows)

Assist the Executive Director in developing and maintaining the educational quality of the training program & ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements
Manages the Fellow recruitment and selection process
Serves as a College and University contact and coordinator

Acts as an important liaison between Fellows, Fellowship directors, faculty, participating sites, and institutional and regulatory offices

Tracks progress and provides on-going status updates to the faculty

Supports the Executive Director with strategic initiatives and special projects

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $22.00 – $28.00 per hour
